The data controller

The controller of the processing described in this notice is DEVO Zrt. (registered seat: Váci út 3., 1062 Budapest, Hungary). You can reach us with any data protection question at info@devo.hu. Data we process

No registration is required to use this website. We process personal data when you submit a contact or job application form (name, email address, the content of your message and any data contained in an attached CV), and when you file a whistleblowing report — the latter may also be submitted anonymously. We additionally process technical data through strictly necessary cookies and, with your consent, analytics cookies.

Purposes and legal basis

We process contact messages in order to answer your enquiry, on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Job applications are processed to run the selection procedure, likewise on the basis of consent. Whistleblowing reports are processed to comply with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, under Hungarian law on complaints and public interest disclosures). Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); analytics cookies only with your consent.

Retention periods

Contact messages are retained for no more than one year after the enquiry is closed. Job applications are stored until the selection procedure ends, or for up to one year where you have given separate consent. Whistleblowing reports are processed for the period prescribed by the applicable legislation. Cookie lifetimes are set out in the Cookie Notice. Exact retention periods are fixed in the final document.

Transfers and processors

We do not sell your personal data and do not disclose it to third parties for marketing purposes. We use the website’s hosting provider and, subject to your consent, the analytics provider as processors; the final document lists them. We do not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area unless we inform you separately.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to the personal data we hold about you, its rectification or erasure, or the restriction of processing; you may also object to processing and exercise your right to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. Send your request to info@devo.hu and we will respond within one month at the latest.

Complaints and remedies

If you believe our processing infringes your rights, please contact us first at info@devo.hu. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Falk Miksa utca 9-11., 1055 Budapest, ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu), or seek a judicial remedy before the court competent for your place of residence or stay.
