Role within the group
One of DEVO Group's newly established business areas focuses on residential property and housing projects. The business area is young, but its foundations are not. The group previously carried out substantial property development as a major regional player, and we are now deliberately applying the experience gained there to housing projects.
We support the development of residential properties that combine high technical standards, sustainability and a liveable urban environment. When developing each concept, we tailor the balance of housing types and communal spaces to the needs of the target audience. Legal, leasing and marketing support complete the process.
Our foundation is our experience across the full property development value chain. When assessing projects, we identify planning, technical and market risks while analysing the budget and schedule dependencies of each development. We think like owners: we make decisions using our own capital and in line with long-term objectives, rather than taking part in the process merely as a service provider. By operating our own housing stock, we have first-hand knowledge of the practical challenges of leasing and property maintenance, allowing us to align development considerations with operational experience. This is complemented by the legal and commercial expertise available within the group, which provides a sound basis for the effective structuring of contracts, partnerships and transactions.
